All of our lures are made of soft plastic and impregnated with farm grown shrimp to resemble real shrimp, crabs, and a variety of bait fish.The C.A.L. series of D.O.A. Lures represents the highest quality shad tail and jerk baits. The C.A.L. Shad tails are some of the simplest lures to fish. A simple cast and retrieve is all that is necessary to catch fish. Another method of successfully fishing the shad body is an up and down jigging action. "Bouncing the lure up and down along the bottom produces some of the largest fish for both novice and experienced anglers." When the C.A.L. series shad body is used in conjunction with the D.O.A. C.A.L. heads fish from one pound to 80 pounds can be landed with this versatile combination. The hook is super sharp super strong and very durable against salt water. It's uses range from freshwater bass and walleye to redfish and tarpon. Line entry at the front of the nose of the C.A.L. jig head allows for snag-free presentation in heavy grass and oysters. The wide gap hook allows for excellent hook exposure while being used in soft plastic bodies. The large reflective eye offers an excellent target for striking fish. Generally, the 1/8 or 1/4 Oz. heads are used in shallow water and slower currents while the 3/8 Oz. jig heads are more appropriate for water with current and while fishing in deeper areas.D.O.A. C.A.L. series jig heads are available in five colors: Red, White, Chartreuse, Black & Natural. They are available in seven sizes: 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4 and 1 oz.The D.O.A. C.A.L. series jerk baits are designed to be used in conjunction with the C.A.L. jig heads or different styles of worm hooks. Jerk Baits now come in two sizes 4" and the NEW 5.5" size.When used with C.A.L. jig heads the lure may be jerked around or simply retrieved in a straight line, the lighter the head the shallower the lure can be fished. Use the diagram as a model when placing a worm hook in the body. Colors in the C.A.L. series of D.O.A.'s can vary from region to region. White (330) avocado (371) and chartreuse (318) are always dependable.
